Datamatics [ver.2.0] is the latest audiovisual concert in Ryoji Ikeda’s Datamatics series. In this project the Japanese composer explores how we perceive the invisible digital data that permeate our modern world. Datamatics uses pure data as a source for sounds and images. Ikeda combines these
abstract representations of matter, space, and time to create a breathtakingly consummate work that
explores and challenges the limits of our powers of perception.
