Winner of the 2025 Ernst von Siemens Foundation Prize, the Hervé Dugardin Prize, and the Banque Populaire Foundation Prize, he is a resident at the Villa Medici in Rome and has collaborated with numerous ensembles such as the Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain, the Orchestre d'Auvergne, 2e2m, and the Diotima Quartet
His company, Les Insectes, is regularly invited to perform on national stages and at festivals. For example with Métamorphoses, which features the metallophone, a large circular vibraphone in twelfths of a tone of Davids own invention
A lasting collaboration was also established with the Ensemble Intercontemporain, resulting in several commissions and notably the ambitious creative project Nous Sommes Orage
