Tom De Cock
A Belgian percussionist, conductor, and artistic director specializing in contemporary music, he trained at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, and the Internationale Ensemble Modern Akademie
A member of Ictus since 2014, he has collaborated with many renowned composers and artists such as Pierre Boulez, Georges Aperghis and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, and has performed on prestigious stages such as the Lucerne Festival, Wien Modern and the Venice Biennale
He has conducted numerous ensembles such as the Brussels Philharmonic, the Opéra National de Lorraine, the Collegium Vocale Gent, ICTUS and Het Collectief
He is also an educator, teaching at the KASK/Conservatoire de Gent and regularly giving masterclasses abroad
