Etesiane Trombone Quartet

A young orchestra with variable geometry based in Brussels and founded by Gabriel Hollander, whose projects alternate from formations of 10 to 15 strings up to large symphonic ensembles of 70 to 80 musicians.

Its mission is to make classical music accessible by forging links between music of the past and today.

Since its creation in 2021, the orchestra has participated in more than 50 projects with prestigious institutions such as the Belgian National Orchestra, the La Monnaie Orchestra, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, and the Brussels Philharmonic.

Etesiane's first album, “Missa Brevis”, was released in May 2026 under the Cypres label, and aims to compare the form of the classical short mass, as practiced by Mozart or Haydn, with similar contemporary creations, starting with a short mass by Fabian Fiorini in this first release.
