Bozar - Henry Le Boeuf Room , BrusselsWith exceptional pianists Katia and Marielle Labèque and Bryce Dessner, from the group The National, The Dream House Quartet explores the major works of Philip Glass or Thom Yorke, from the group Radiohead.
With an exceptional ensemble comprised of pianists Katia and Marielle Labèque, and composers Bryce Dessner, leader of The National, and David Chalmin, Dream House Quartet creates and performs visionary works. The ethereal motif of flight, which runs through their 2023 album Dream House Quartet , is their experimental, moving, and emotional exploration. Featuring pieces by Meredith Monk, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Bryce Dessner, David Chalmin, and a new work by Thom Yorke of Radiohead, dedicated to the Labèque sisters, this evening's program will traverse new and uncharted territories. Between exploration, luminous emotion, and musical architecture, Dream House Quartet is an invitation to a Baudelairean journey where everything is passion, quest, and beauty.
