THE   The Tana Quartet embodies the musical challenges of a 21st-century string quartet. Adventurous, it breaks down the barriers between classical and contemporary, experimental and visionary music. Virtuosic and versatile, its expressiveness allows it to explore the works of Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and the saturation movement. A pioneer, it explores technology and creates its own hybrid and electroacoustic instruments. Fully engaged with its time and our future, the quartet will present world premieres by Jean-Paul Dessy, Hugh Levick ( Shredded for String Quartet ), and Marc Monnet ( Quartet No. 11 "Classico" ) for our adventurous and musical listening.
