Workshops Happy Time with MUS-E

On the occasion of the performance of the opera HAPPY TIME on 15 and 16 November at the Cultural Centre of Uccle, MUS-E organized a series of intensive workshops for children. During seven sessions in October and November, two classes discovered the world of contemporary opera through a participatory and multidisciplinary approach.

Guided by the artists of MUS-E, the children get to work with the themes of HAPPY TIME : the search for happiness, memories, and the passage of time. Through musical creation, bodily expression, and direction, they were invited to make the work their own and give it their own artistic interpretation.

In addition to the class project, the students also had the opportunity to experience the opera up close by attending a rehearsal or the performance together.

With these workshops, MUS-E aimed to stimulate children's artistic curiosity, provided them with tools to better understand a contemporary work, and offered them a space to reflect and talk about their own experience of happiness and memory.
